About the Artist
To depict the intricacies of the flora and fauna of nature is what truly
inspires artist Kim Henson. Combining a deep love of nature, a curiosity
about life and a delicate, detailed artistic style she strives to render
her subjects realistically and poignantly in a variety of medias including
watercolor, pen & ink, acrylic, and oil.
A professional artist for the past several years, Ms. Henson has illustrated
a children's book about sea creatures along the coast of Maine and is
currently illustrating several other books. She exhibits seasonally along
the east coast from Maine to Virginia and has created lines of stationary
and T-shirts for various corporate clients. Her works can be found in
private collections internationally and throughout the United States.
